As we move into the colder, light-deprived season of winter, it's good to do something special for yourself. Now is a great time to come in and find some pick-me-ups for your winter wardrobe. The selection of both new boutique overstock and very special consignment items is tremendous -- we have labels you want at the prices you love! Whether you need a new sweater, a new pair of designer jeans, cool winter boots, or something for that holiday formal, you'll love what we have to offer!

Pants for the Season
Here are the best trousers of the season and how to try them...
Cropped. They're not leg-lengtheners, but if you add height with your footwear, you'll create a new look from an old classic. Tyr ankle-grazing boots, and pay attention to your tights -- experiment with ribs or patterns.
Skinny. This cut is sleek, second-skin-fitting, and may not be good for a conservative workplace or low-key gathering. Have a tailor take out the pockets to slim the thighs, and wear with a loose shirt that hits mid-derriere to miniimize your rear and tall, flats boots.
Pleated. Not your mom's pleated pants -- the new version is worn low on the waist and is wide in the legs. It says slouchy elegance, not pouchy midsection. Just select tops that add a little structure, and a fitted jacket to add overall shape.
High Waist. High-waisted pants, worn with cuffs covering heels, seem to make legs go on forever. This style is ideal for a long torso, as it breaks up the midsection. To get the maximum benefit of this look, show the top of your waistband -- or ease into the look with a tissue-weight T under a cropped jacket.
Harem. Definitely best for the tall and thin. Limit jewelry to one big piece, wear with heels, a blouse that nips in at the waist, and a cropped jacket to balance your figure.

Contact us to arrange a special "shopping party" for you and an unlimited number of your closest friends. We'll pick a date, do the work (send invitations, provide snacks and drinks-- and clean up, of course), and host your special evening at the shop. Your guests will receive a discount on all purchases, and a percentage of the evening's sale will be donated to your favorite charity.
There are lots of charities out there to support, so we plan to do this every month. Get your charity on the list now!
The time for consigning winter wardrobe items is growing short, so if you have things to bring in, please do so soon! With the amazing inventory we already have in the shop, we are being extremely selective with what we are accepting -- so please be selective about what you bring in for us to look at! As always, your items must be current, better or designer labels, in exceptional condition, and floor-ready.
